Fujifilm warranty is absolutely horrible!

Yes, except that the EVF/OVF switch works perfectly internally. Indeed, when I put the camera to my eyes, it automatically switches to the EVF. It's that the toggle switch can control this process only intermittently. The toggle switch is a part of the top assembly which they want to charge for.

In any case, I will post photos when I get the X Pro-1 back.

And no, nothing on this camera is out of alignment. The photos still look beautiful. The EVF focusing works perfect. See attached shot.
