Fujifilm warranty is absolutely horrible!

not taking sides here, but if the impact was severe enough that internal components shifted far enough so the button now sticks... I can see how this would get a repair tech all freaked out.

More importantly, can you check if a sensor is still in alignment with a lens mount? Cause if it's not, might as well plunk down those 10 bills
