My Gossen Mastersix is one stop different to my two Sekonics

There is no actual standard, which is amazing - given that we treat it as a 'standard' measurement

You can buy camera to meter calibration kits to get the meter and camera on the same page - that's worth it if you use a meter a great deal - but they're not cheap!

Comparing cameras and meters is an exercise in frustration - some use 18% grey, some 13%, some 12%...
