Hi,

I am using a D800 with LR & CS6 mostly.

I discovered very recently the wonders that SilverEfex does to files when converting into B&W, all within LR or CS6. What it does to the files is just miles ahead of everything else I have used, and is the closest thing I have seen to my good old B&W paper days.

Although I understand it is a very different matter, but is there something equivalent or as pleasing for color ('instagram' not being an acceptable answer:) )?

Thanks,

Hi,

You might also want to consider Color Efex Pro from Nik Software, the same company behind Silver Efex Pro. Color Efex Pro also utilizes their UPoint technology, allowing you to make limitless local adjustments.

I think there may be a trial version you can download and check out.

best,

Jake
