I have used it on bird  counts, etc. for about 3 weeks.  No problems.  It just works. Easy to install.

Start up time is very short after the first time when you receive it.

The instructions for setting up the compass are a bit obscure, but you really do not need to do that. (Where it tells you to rotate the camera to calibrate the compass, be sure to do it on a tripod.)

It is very neat and compact, and I have found NO  problems with it catching on my backpack or clothes on walks, which I had been concerned about with some of the larger ones.  I like that it does not sit on the flash mount, where it would be more prone to that.

I have left it on my camera all the time since it arrived.
