I guess its just a matter of taste, but the topazless picture looks to me a bit more natural (less like a lord of the rings rendered character)
but I can already see some applications that this sort of change would yield really nice results such as pictures of old furniture or abandoned houses and cars.
thanks for sharing your experiences with us.
(for a minute I was worried that this pic was not too much processed and I was really sad that my a57 could run in to taking pictures like that in any similar lighting... wooh.. thank god I didnt spend my money on a suicide motive!
just kidding here!)
