They don't carry guns here in the Uk. They are issued on on special occasions where considered necessary. Check you fact before posting.

I knew all that before I posted dumbess. That is the reason I worded it the way I did. In every police force in the world there are officers who carry guns. That is why I see this post as pointless.
And even if they didn't use guns, the suicide rate in the UK is nearly the same as the US. And I know for a fact that there are family murder suicides in the UK as well. the person committing suicide just resorts to a different weapon. So go pound sand.
