Well, yes, Pat, that would be a reasonable - although unfounded - assumption. Me, I'm a glass is half empty kind of person and tend to explore worst-case scenarios.

Why do you think the D40 was AF-crippled (I always thought it was a nice little camera but I have never had one)?
