Lack of built-in flash on OM-D annoying or frustrating?

I don't use the flash often so I'm glad they didn't increase the OMD's body size by making it a permanent attachment.  That said, the flash can be both annoyong and frustrating.

Annoying because the design is such that there are little bity covers for the flash and the hotshoe that have to be removed and stored or retreived and re-attached every time you switch back and forth.  A small bag is supplied with the camera but I'm sure it's only a matter of time before I lose one of these little peices.

Frustrating because depending on the lens in use and the subject distance, the OMD's flash has a very strong tendency to throw shadows from the lens onto the subject.  I suppose it's a downside to using such a compact body with a variety of lens shapes but I've taken many a picture that was ruined by a frustrating half circle of shadow creeping up over the lower part of my subject matter.  Now I make sure I have my pancake lens on when I want to use the flash.

That said, my OMD overall is still the least annoying or frustrating camera I've ever owned and I highly recommend it!
