Anyone annoyed that the Nikon D5100 camera will NOT autofocus with some Nikon lenses?

It is a difficult argument to make on a Nikon forum. There are some who will forgive Nikon of darn near anything as they are true fans of Nikon. I am no more attached to Nikon than I am to my Ryobi drill...merely a tool. But similarly, when Ryobi decides to pull support for the Ryobi-One system I'll be pretty mad knowing it will be to bolster sales in their Ryobi-Two system. Very few corporations respect their customer base to any great degree and those that do should be rewarded. It is clear that modern Nikon does not.

There are others here that are not affected by the focus motor issue as they have no older style lenses. Their unconditional love for Nikon is also short sighted as they will surely be the next generation to have this happen to them. When I read many of their posts I even get the impression that they somehow enjoy the discomfort others feel as their beloved lens collection loses value (both in utility and resale).
