Saying the gun is the major problem, is like saying those airplanes used on 9-11-2001 were the major problem.
Your agenda is the removal of guns. Mine is the education of MEN who have anger issues, and the mental health issues that are clearly present in any human being that is willing to take another human beings life. Take away guns, or airplanes, and you still have not addressed the true issue. They simply will find another tool to use. Maybe that would be cars, or bombs.
So, why don't we take away everything that can hurt people and not address the true issue. Mental health.

Of course one must also try and treat mental illnesses. Treatment and firearm abolition combined will certainly have considerable beneficial effects.
