I'm just a normal guy who sometimes gets sick reading so many fanboy posts, like from this guy, or the user olyflyer.  So here's one photo, taken with a camera that will never meet your standards, Olympus E30

And I'll tell you my take: I have NEVER seen a D800 or 5D MK III image posted on these forums that cannot be taken with any DSLR made after 2007, including entry level. Yes some images might be more easy to do with the new cameras, which is good considering 99,9% of people here are not really photographers.

And I am not taking side with people saying the D800 AF is bad, even though I have a friend, pro photog, who does have huge issues with the D800.  The D800 I tried in the store seemed to focus fast and precise, in very dim light, but never analyzed the rezults at 100% on a big monitor, just in camera.
