Dirty Hat and Lady Bug House. (2 imgs)

Just playing around here folks.

Pentax K-01 + Nikon 400mm f2.8 + Nikon TC-301 2X Teleconverter + Nikon-PK (no glass) adapter + Pentax-F 1.7X AF Adapter. Note: The TC-301 2X TC when used with this lens allows me to be able to focus to infinity without the use of glass elements in the Nikon-PK adapter. This lens seems to be sharpest when I set it to f4. This combo still autofocuses with the Pentax-F 1.7X AF Adapter when I set the Nikon 400/2.8 to f4. So basically I have a 1360mm f13.6 autofocusing lens.

I do not understand why the EXIF reads f8. I should actually read F__ with this combo.

The subjects are about 28 feet (8.5 meters) away. I do not know yet how a combo such as this (with the K-01) will work on subjects that are further away. I will try it someday.
