PMB or Play Memories or ... ?

Hi, I recently installed the Play Memories Software to view my photos , and I'm quite unhappy with it. I used the PMB before and i found it pretty easy to use and browse through my photos.

Now, I'm not sure if I should go back to PMB or look for a 3rd party software to view my photos.

What I didn't like about Play memories ?

-Extremely slow  (my pc windows7 ultimate, processor i7 950, ati 5850, 24gb RAM, intel SSD)

-features removed from previous versions. Latest version, can't set main features on toolbar, they are all on right side. Hate that.

-On left side, can only browse photos by folder, no more by calendar like the PMB.

Things I like about PMB:

quite fast

easy to browse through photos

For editing i use lr4 and cs5. Easy to open any photo from PMB

Any suggestions on other photo viewing software before I go back on PMB ? I tend to search my photos more by calendar than by folders. Thank you.
