Images look soo much better on mac!

Lots of details missing that make a big difference.  Was it in a web browser from each or Photoshop?  Was it in the native OS, viewer, etc.

I would venture to guess that the mac is picking up on the embedded color profile such as sRGB while the PC is not.  That can account for the colors and representation of the images the most.
