The wonderful versatility of the LX7

I spent the weekend with family in Baltimore and did some shooting with the LX7 and also with the EPL5 with the new 17mm f1.8 lens, which I brought along mostly for low light. I mostly walked around with the LX7 during the day and the EPL5 in the evening, and did some street shooting with both. While the LX7 can't match the EPL5 in low light, it holds its own and is a very capable camera. And with the step zoom, the multi-aspect ratios, the fast lens, the wonderful controls, etc, this little $300 camera is as much fun to shoot with as anything I own, and I have a few pretty nice cameras. Here's a sampling of the LX7 in many conditions for various types of shooting, at various aspect ratios and different stops on the step-zoom (which is like having a nice group of six fast primes in the bag that are REALLY easy to switch lenses with!).
