You're dead right  David - it doesn't need any increase in contrast. I posted that response after looking at it on my PC at work while I was having lunch. At home on my calibrated Eizo it looks entirely different.

The Viveza 2 software is still great for improving the "structure" of the image. I'm really not sure how it works but it produces amazing results. I'm just in the process of finishing PP over 3,000 images from my last trip and the difference between the before and after images is incredible.
