Nikon DX mirrorless must have the shorter distance sensor-bayonet than DX DSLR.  This is due to the possibility to make cheaper and smaller wide-angle lenses. (m4/3 distance sensor-bayonet ise shorter than 4/3, NEX distance is shorter than Alpha SLR/SLT mount, ....).

Nikon DX mirrorless must have the other lens motor charactersitic - step by step optimized SWM, no one shift SWM as todays lenses.

All Nikkors, AF-S DX and AF-S FX, which the Nikon DX bodies customers have are usable only by adapter and are not optimized for contrast detect  AF. Nikon will and must produce DSLR and mirrorless bodies simultaneusly some time, because Nikon cannot violate Nikon DSLR DX customers which have Nikkor lenses!!!!!

We have the serious problems for cross-over in Nikon technique:

D800 and next high-res FX bodies are not good bodies for DX lenses owners, because of 0.70x viewfinder magnification.

DX and FX mirrorless bodies are not good bodies for Nikkor DX & FX lenses owners because of the various sensor-bayonet distance and the different AF motor type.
