How and when do we find out about next month's lens rebates?

Humm, two very unfortunate points I would have to agree with, neither of which help me. Given the reported issues of focus shift, hence why I'm pretty uncomfortable with the $700 price for a potentially substandard lens, a refurbished lens sounds even less appealing, but thanks for pointing out it.

I guess I just need to get off the fence and order it.
