5D MK III? $3,500 mistake

I think people are being a bit harsh, he was just stating the camera had an issue out of the box. There were some good deals over the holidays, the fact that the kit was discounted had nothing to do with the failure. You can pay full price and have the same issue. I returned a camera purchased over Christmas with no questions asked. It's not hard to call B&H and obtain a RMA number. In my case there was nothing wrong with the body so I ate the return shipping, but then they shipped it to me for free, they ate that cost and still gave a prompt full refund. If the camera is defective, I am pretty sure B&H will credit you the cost of the return shipping.
