So much better than hearing about a company that drops out of the consortium, as did happen with 4/3.

What is important here is that many of these newer members are lens makers... and M4/3 already has a huge lead in lens selection, so this is just more icing on the cake.

Every single one of us M4/3 users wants this format to be around for a long time. And these new members are expanding the market for M4/3 products and expanding the ways the system can be used.
