Flash mob in uptown Charlotte in color as well as b&w.

This was the end of the act.

Dancers came out of no where to start dancing.

Who says m 4/3 can't stop action?

this is when the group all came together.

just keep on shooting in an event like this.

Because I am uptown so much, a hotdog vendor told me that I should wait around.

some of us like to shoot in b&w while other love color better.  Either way it is ok.

I moved in close and just kept shooting.

If you keep going back to the street you are going to find something going on here in Charlotte.  And because I go up town so often you get to know some of the vendors who sell food on the street.  In this case it was popcorn man.  He warned me that I really needed to stay close to this corner as there was going to be a flash mob dancing.  Later when it happened, several Mom's and Dad's had come to watch their children dance.  They told me that the event would be repeated and gave me the time.  I hung around and shot this time a different view that I had the first time.

Now some here have told me that they really like b&w, but others say that they never shoot or convert in b&w.  I always shoot RAW, and using Nik Software Color Efex Pro 4, I work on getting the best color I can and only then convert to b&w using Silver Efex Pro 2 for the conversion.  I also will use Viveza2 and Difine 2 when working with my files and then end it all in Sharpener Pro 3.  So for every b&w, there is a color original.  I will not always show the color, but this is for those who wrote to me about never using b&w and not really liking b&w.  Still others told me that they really liked the b&w and didn't like the color.  Isn't it wonderful that we have so many options and are able to share them here.
