I believe mine is doing that too. I think it front focuses more than it back focuses but it does change, making AF fine tune useless.

Both my 5DM3 and D800 focus differently in tungsten vs full-spectrum lighting, but both focus differently in consistent ways (ie, same AF tune delta from shot-to-shot for a particular lighting temperature).

It's not right that we should have to adjust fine tune data between changing lighting conditions. Imagine using this camera at a wedding. No, scratch that. I would rather put a shotgun to my head with the safety off than do something as careless as that. Unless i want to stand using LV af contrast detect I can bet it will miss faces all over the face no matter how good I am at placing it on the face.
