Statue, moon and stars

A photo of the 'Hide-Drogher' statue, overlooking the harbor at Dana Point, California... a memorial to the 1830's and 1840s when sailors from far-away New England tossed dried cattle hides off the cliffs, down to the ships below. Edited with the addition of a new sky, full moon and stars, in Xara Photo & Graphic Designer.
FYI, a photo-purist would go berserk looking at this picture. Because it is impossible to render in real life, with a regular camera. Starlight is faint, so it takes a long time to build up an exposure, and stars move, leaving trails. And there's no way you can cart a huge astronomical telescope around to get the star pix -- and still have the foreground in focus also. But thanks to programs like Xara and Photoshop, we can show the night sky and landscape as it appears to our eyes. Fun!
