HAHAHAHA, too funny!! I totally hear yah, in that case, feet zooming is out of the question. Get one of those cheap adapters and pop in of the great lenses I keep seeing some folks rave about. It's manual focus, but peak focus is pretty awesome. I tried it with the 50mm, wow, that's a neat little tool for manual focus or when you do hybrid of both (DMF) autofocus/manual...

I have a couple of good manual lenses (Canon FD 50mm f/1.4 & 85mm f/1.7), and I agree that the NEX's focus peaking is great. But when I'm out riding, and want to travel light, the 16-50mm does the trick for me, and does it well. No, I won't use it for indoor portraits. But it has been pooh-pooh'ed so much here, that I just wanted to present a (somewhat snarky, I admit) counterpoint.

If I offended anyone's sensibilities, well, I'm sure they'll recover quickly.
