Common objects as subjects

Inspired by Bassy's post tap turns on the water, I made a brief tour of my garage yesterday, and here's some of what I found there. Cast of characters, left to right, then top to bottom:

• Hose bib with water spots on the flashing
• Suitcases with nowhere to go
• When a little light is needed
  
• Gym shoes resting up
• An Ace Hardware broom with some flyaway hair
• The reel hose ... er, the hose reel
  



There's no end to such subjects -- but is it art?
