XZ-2 noise performance - poor?
I agree with IcanHazPics. I've owned both and there is just no way that the XZ2 is worse. I would say it's a good stop better. I don't know what that reviewer could possibly be seeing. I never could shoot at ISO 800 with the XZ1, even in raw. It was over the line (for me). The XZ2 at ISO 800 is acceptable on my 24" Dell after processing in LR 4.3, at least for me. Even 1600 can be acceptable for reduced sizes, say 800 on the long side and exposed properly. I'd say listen to the people on this forum who actually own one and have shot with it extensively. We are not idiots and can see for ourselves what is plainly before our eyes.
