D800 focus with 1.4 prime lenses is very variable and inaccurate

The D800 performs worse than the 5DMKII overall with primes in terms of variability and accuracy.  The D700 does not have a lot of statistics but what few it has shows its pretty decent...I'd guess that few D700 owners ever felt the need to buy and use a MFA adjustment tool.

The 5DMKIII for all its criticism in not being improved enough statistically is showing impressive statistics for many fast primes...even the 1.2L primes.
