After waiting for these I'm encouraged by the D5200 scores. Mainly by the fact that they're a just a bit better than the D7000. I found the noise on the D7000 to be very recoverable even up to iso 4000.

That's really all I'm looking for - a decent increase in resolution and dynamic range, an iso performance where around 2000 looks like my D300's iso 800, and the ability to effectively recover above that.
