Really? Yes I take out my RX100 to be unintrusive because when people see the RX110 with its extra 2 buttons and dial, and more grippable surface, they're like "Whoa get that huge piece of pro gear out of my face, I'm calling the cops".

the rx100 already has a mode dial, a control wheel, control ring, and a better Fn button than the nex 7 - you want to add 2 more buttons and another dial?? if you owned the camera you'd realize that it does everything you could want it too - quickly. in practice, not in the store.

as for the grip - its better with nothing. it makes it aesthetically better than any other pocket camera since film cams. its better without a built-in grip because you can now choose from the franiec, a flipbac, or the leica-like skin from ebay - which makes the camera look insanely classy. i got one and it looks even better than the stock camera with it on. it was like $16.

the only physical design flaw i can really see is they could have or maybe should have added filter threads - but even THAT has a really pretty great solution in the carryspeed magfilter.

bottom line: your opinion is in the extreme minority i'm sure. if you owned the camera you'd realize it operates very quickly and easily.
