Minolta 85mm f/1.4 G - just curious...

I happen to possess this lens in a rare condition: it doesn't have the gold ring that normally is present as an extra 'signature' on this great G lens.

Anyone else who has one like this? I know just one other person who has one.

Note the absence of the gold ring, normally visible under the focus ring
