D800 focus with 1.4 prime lenses is very variable and inaccurate

I'm sorry to hear your D800 doesnt work well with 1.4. Personally i never have issues. I dont use 1.4 much either mind you. In my professional enviroment i feel this DSLR deliver's and i can trust it.

You don't believe? ok.

I don't think 6D AF is better in every way than D800 - it really isn't. AF-C is much better with D800, especially with 2.8 or slower lenses. However - as I mentioned - the AF does not work with 1.4 lenses reliably. Period.
