Hi

Exposure compensation as far as I am aware does nothing in manual mode. The whole purpose of manual exposure is to set the exposure correctly.

Therefore if you find over exposure or under exposure in manual mode when using the built in meter, you would compensate by using the aperture or the shutter speed.
