Sony 50mm 1.8 vs Minolta 50mm 1.7

The Minolta 50/1.7 can't focus to infinity. It gets very close, but not enough for a sharp shot unless you stop down significantly. I saw this issue with two versions of the lens that were made 20 years apart.

If you don't mind the build quality and lack of FF support, get the Sony.
