Re: Oh Oh ... AF problem with one of my D600 :-(

I recently upgraded from D70 and D200 camera bodies to the new D600 kit which came with the 24 - 85mm zoom. I have an 80-200mm Nikkor FX zoom, a 105mm FX micro lens, a 17-55mm DX zoom, and the original D70 kit zoom. All of these lens functioned mechanically on the D600 from the beginning, but for the last 3 days I have been doing a shoot of an athletic event with the D600 and the AF Nikkor 80-200mm lens, and suddenly this morning this lens would no longer focus, either automatically or manually. It worked wonderfully for 2 days, and then suddenly quit focusing. The D600 kit lens and my other lenses still function on the D600, and all the lenses, including the 80-200mm zoom, still work well on the D200 and D70 bodies. Is it possible that there is a technology incompatibility with older Nikkor lenses and the new D600 body? Has there been similar problems with the D800?
