Tripods for people who don't use tripods?

Thanks everyone for their responses and advice.

FWIW I decided to go with the Dolica AX620B100 tripod. I expect I'll still be using it ten or twenty years from now. Maybe I'll have bought a replacement for the head, and maybe I'll have replaced the legs once or twice, but it will still be the same tripod I bought back in 2013
