Nikon 70-200 2.8 VR just purchased on Flebay!!!

The 70-200VR is my favourite portrait lens on my D700's. I prefer it to both the 85/1.4 and 135/2DC. Amazingly I have never noticed any vignetting or loss of sharpness in the corners with it like many people on this forum attest. Mine is a late production model - maybe I just got lucky.

To be honest though, I never heard any adverse comments about the lens until the VRII came out and compared to the focus breating issues of the VRII, I've preferred to stick with the original VR lens.
