Is the old version of photoshop (CS2) worthy of learning on?

Thanks! I appreciate it. I feel like I am asking too many questions as it is. Someone is going to ban me from the forum lol I tend to try and wrap my head around too many things at once. I guess I was frustrated when I uploaded some action shots of my son to mess with and they looked like crap lol This whole photography thing can be frustrating and I don't want to get too overwhelmed.
