Hawk Watch w/40-150mm
Jan 20, 2013

The Ramona Wildlife Refuge has had an annual Hawk Watch for the last 22 years. It is a fund raising event  where they allow non members to view some of the wild birds that they have had a hand in caring for.

This was my second year attending and I took my E-M5 with the 40-150mm. I think I should have used my 100-300mm since I was at the long end of the 40-150mm which is no considered that sharp, whereas the 100-300mm is  reported to be sharpest in the 100-200mm range.

It was a fun morning. Your C&C are welcome.

Dave

Peregrine Falcon - capable of reaching speeds up 200mph when diving!

This shot reminds me of a Harley Davidson T-Shirt I've seen, but they use a bald eagle.
