Whether you are setting your printer for Economy Ink Swop or not, try to plan you orinting sessions so you are printing only to one type or the other.

It's just not the qaste of ink but you are also dumping that ink onto your Waste ink pads and needlessly decreasing their life span.

You bring up another good point Jtoolman; concerning the waste ink pads. I've often wondered how long the pads last. Are they cleanable or replaceable? Or is it a total printhead replacement or something like that? Since there is a total waste of ink for the swap, I'm presuming that it's something really expensive like a printhead replacement.
