How Nikon colors changed over the years.

You notice this stuff when you have to many Nikon bodies. The 4 cameras below are my D70, D300, D300s and the D600. Colors are different between all of them. I at least expected the colors to be the same between the D300 and D300s. All images shot in RAW, NX2 to convert to JPEG, I used camera neutral on all images. The D70 I had to be brighten and D600 darken some to even up the exposure. WB set from the gray patch, second bottom square from the left using the Marquee Sample Tool.

Looking at these makes you appreciate the old film days. You can use different bodies or brands and as long as you use the same film, same quality lens & exposure the color & noise would look the same or close to it. When a camera manufacture comes out with a camera the will give you 100% accuracy 100% of the time I be first in line to buy one. Yea, keep dreaming!!
