I need to attach the Nikon TC-E15ED to my new FZ200. Both are new to me in every way. I think the order of items is:

camera+DMW-LA adapter+ 55-50mm step down ring+ Nikon TC-E15ED

Is that right? Also, is there anything I should be considering as far as setting on the camera before I use this setup. I will be using it both handheld and on a monopod while traveling.

Thanks for any advice.

Diana

In order to reduce the amount of vignetting which occurs due to the deep recess at the rear end of the TC-E15ED a number of forum members have shortened their TCs using a variety of methods.

For those who don't have access to machining facilities the method described by Sherman Levine in the following link is a very suitable alternative.
