Pany 35-100mm Baptism of Fire...

As an olympus user for a while now I have sold most of my 43rds gear (I do have a small micro 43rds kit also) and was about to purchase either a Canon 5dmkii or 6d and 17-40 f4 +50 f1.4 and a 70-200 f4. The question I have is, do you miss the full format image quality or is there not that much in it? I had a passing thought that i may wait for the Panasonic GH3 with the 12-35 and 35-100. What's your general thoughts on this?
