Panasonic 7~14mm or Olympus 12mm ?

Delicious dilemma!

I don't mind a bit of buying and selling but the quicker I get it right the less money I waste! Renting for long enough to reach a decision may actually cost more. Good lenses retain their value very well in my experience.

I think I'm already decided the 7~14 is bigger than I want and will defeat the object of getting the OMD in the first place. I'm now considering the Olympus 9~18 as recommended by another user and it gets good reviews. 18mm FF equivalent is pretty wide and would be enough. I'm not sure 24mm equivalent would. I have an UWA on my DSLR that gets me 12~24mm but I don't use it often, but I use my wide angle lens alot and that gives me 17mm (and I do make use of it).
