Installing new hard drive - Help!

Hi

I'm trying to install a new (additional) hard drive into my PC to cope with the every increasing number of photos I've got stored on my system.

I'm running windows vista.

I have physically installed the hard drive.  I've partitioned it, formatted it and named it as the F: drive all within windows.  It is showing up in 'Computer Management' as being healthy, active and as having a primary partition.



So far so good.  As I understand it, that should be job done.

Problem:  Although the drive is obviously there and formatted etc, it isn't showing in 'My Computer'.  What have I not done/done wrong?
