It is because of NEX 7, not lens (more)

I know about the corner purple fringing on the 8mm fisheye Samyang lenses. My first lens was a 8mm 3.5 and I could see it on the corners but not in the rest of the image to an significant degree.
Got one of the new smaller 2.8 8mm fisheye Samyang lenses and there is even an overall purple cast to the rest of the image.
Note the difference in the color of gray concrete.
Just my lens or to others have this problem on a NEX7? I'm about to return it.
The limitation is with the NEX 7 and it just isn't compatible with the steep angle of light hitting the sensor from the fisheye.
Same difference on my Samsung NX, the NX20 is no good with the Rokinon 8mm f/2.8 fisheye, but the older NX11 is great. Both are sharp in the corners, but the NX20 gets a color cast like it does with the NEX 7. The NEX 5n or 6 should be good with the lens.
So I would return the lens if you plan on using it with the NEX 7, or use Cornerfix and make a profile to get it to work.
