Coincides with my reasoning also. The Panasonic 7-14 is an exotic heavy expen$ive prone to purple flare clump that won't take filters easily. It doen't work well with Olympus.

I went for the Oly 9-18 so that I have an ultra-wide while waiting for somebody to produce a decent UWA prime.

If I want really large print quality I'll have to take my DSLR and UW or stitch with the 45.
