Ok first time shooting Aperture and Shutter with some success and many flops. Below are a few images from the day but a full display of all saved images (112 from 299) can be found at:
The star of the show was the only flying DeHavilland Mosquito in the world and I got many good shots of it, but to be fair all the aircraft on show were to die for. All aircraft shot are in flying condition and all flew during the day. There was also many military vehicles from days gone by.
WWII Chrysler Supply Truck
Iriquois - RNZ Air Force still flying 8 but due to be mothballed with the replacement NH90 coming online.
C130 Hercules landing.
An interesting face in the crowd (30,000)
Corsair looking for an Aircraft Carrier.
Ready for take off.
The obligatory American Muscle Car.
Bottom and top - Vampires, right - Venom, mid left - the only Mosquito flying in the world.
Sopworth Triplane from WW1
Those Magnificent Men in their Flying Machines
A pretty face in the crowd.
The star shines.
WWII German courier bike and sidecar.

The digital image is a dozen or so words
positioned carefully to paint a picture
that challenges the eye
and tricks the mind
into thinking, light is a title
and the palette a taste bud
worth tasting.
