For my SD1M, I've put a hold on all my lens buying while I wait for the new lenses to be released gradually. I think it would get under my nerves to buy a lens that wasnt tested on their new A1 system.
So, if I were to buy a lens right now, I'd go for the new Sigma 35 1.4 which is superb. Otherwise, I'd wait a few weeks and see how the new 17-70 is.
