Nice work - I love your set from Paraty.
I've been considering a trip to Brazil for some time but have been put off by a few horror stories about the crime rate. How safe did you find it compared to other South American countries? (I've travelled in Peru, Bolivia and Chile).
Hi Ross sorry to hijack the thread, but wanted to give you my opinion regarding security here in Brazil. I am not Brazilian but moved to Sao Paulo last march. I don't consider the city extremely dangerous nor extremely safe. Not wondering in places you shouldn't will definitely make it a safe trip, its a beautiful country worth visiting. I do a lot of street photography and haven't still bump into a bad situation, (hope it stays that way).
